iPAR estimates Photosynthetically Active Radiation (PAR) from photos that you take with your iPhone®.

PAR is used to assess canopy size of the trees, and estimate their yield potential.

iPAR provides an objective assessment on the state of Almond and Walnut orchards.

Take photos of the orchard floor on a clear sky day at solar noon. Process the images and generate a summary directly in your iPhone.

Thanks to data collected through the years by the Lampinen lab you can now get a potential yield application directly on your phone (Almond and Walnut orchard).
