Summary of Duties |
The incumbent will establish and lead an integrated and collaborative research and Extension program in irrigated agriculture that serves the needs of clientele in central Washington production areas. The successful candidate must acquire competitive extramural funding, disseminate information by publishing results in appropriate peer-reviewed journals and Extension media, mentor and supervise graduate students, and assist with CSS course delivery as needed by the department |

Required Qualifications |
Earned Ph.D. degree in Weed Science or a closely-related discipline with a research emphasis on weed control and management by the time of hire Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical audiences using oral and written forms. |
