Learn to shear sheep using the methods taught by certified instructors of the National Shearing Program. This five-day hands-on course is intended for both the beginner as well as the advanced shearer. Learn how to shear sheep, maintain a quality wool clip, and minimize stress to both you and the sheep. You will also learn about the shearing machine, care for and maintain sharpen combs and cutters. 

The course fee is $850 per student and covers the instructor’s fees and equipment replacement. The ASI workbook and DVD is provided by the American Sheep Industry Association. All shearing equipment is provided. Register online with the link below or scan the QR code.
