POMEGRANATES... the fruit of Greek mythology, the main ingredient for Grenadine syrup, a wonderful addition to salads and soups and a fabulous tasting juice that can be a great jelly... can you say holiday gift?!
Come learn the basics of water-bath canning and other methods of preserving pomegranates. We will demonstrate how to easily remove seeds, preserve them through freezing and use the seeds to extract the most juice possible
With that juice you will make a pomegranate jelly and have a jar to take home
Class time: 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
Cost: $20
Check in begins at 9:30 am. Class begins at 10 am sharp.
Classes are held at the Robert J. Cabral Agricultural Center, 2101 E. Earhart Ave., Stockton, CA 95206 in the Calaveras Room.
