School Garden Lessons - Grades 6 - 8

Each PowerPoint is comprised of lessons on topics organized under an overarching concept. The lessons integrate images with content to support student comprehension.  Hyperlinks are also provided for key vocabulary to scaffold and deepen understanding.  Video is imbedded into each lesson to enhance student engagement while reinforcing the lesson’s concepts. All lessons include check for understanding questions. Suggested application and/or extension activities are provided for each lesson. All lessons are aligned to California State Board of Education Content Standards and Career Technical Education Standards.
