ANR Peer Review and Publication Production

Managing existing publications

Associate Editors oversee existing ANR publications in their subject area. One of these responsibilities is to manage the peer review of existing publications. In addition, the decision whether or not to pull an ANR publication from distribution is based on its content, and Associate Editors make that determination. Associate Editors are also involved in the decision to reprint a publication, again based on its content. And lastly, when an author wishes to adapt an existing ANR publication, Associate Editors decide whether the adaptation needs further peer review. Details about each of these scenarios is below.
