Barrett retires after 24 years
Diane M. Barrett, UC Cooperative Extension specialist in the Department of Food Science and Technology at UC Davis, retired on June 30 after 24 years of service to the university. Barrett, who studied the postharvest handling effects on the quality of fruits and vegetables, was the 2015-16 recipient of the ANR Distinguished Service Award for Outstanding Research.
