Webinar: Building resilient communities by changing policy, systems and environment
All ANR Employees are invited to join an interactive webinar to learn about how UC ANR programming fosters change in communities. "Building resilient communities by changing policy, systems and environment"is open to anyone interested in learning about policy, systems and environment, or PSE, in their community. It will be held via Zoom on Oct. 11 at 10 -11 a.m.
Speakers include:
- Janessa Hartmann, UC Cooperative Extension community nutrition and health advisor for Shasta, Trinity and Tehama counties
- Irene Padasas, UCCE community nutrition and health advisor for Tulare, Kings, Fresno, and Madera counties.
- Natalie Price, UCCE community nutrition and health advisor forLos Angeles County,
- Veronica VanCleave-Hunt, UCCE community nutrition, health advisor and food security advisor for Butte, Colusa, Glenn, Sutter and Yuba counties
Participants will learn:
- What PSEs are
- Examples of PSE interventions and how they can improve community health
- How to communicate PSEs in our work
