Resources for Agricultural Landowners
Wildfire preparedness can be a little different in agricultural spaces. Check out the resources below to learn more about preparing your property for wildfire. A good way to prepare and ensure everyone who works with you is on the same page is to prepare an emergency plan for your farm, ranch or agricultural business.
Sign up for the Livestock Disaster Ag Pass
This allows livestock owners to potentially enter closed areas during a natural disaster to evacuate livestock, depending on emergency personnel approval.
For Fresno County’s Commercial Livestock Producer (AG ID) Pass, go through Fresno County Emergency. That website has a place for you to sign up for alerts, as well as a link to submit an “Animal In Disaster Response Request”, where you can register for your AG ID Pass through the Red Cap system.
