UCCE Farm Advisor Maxwell Norton (retired) discusses some of the management practices that wine grape growers should consider in drought years or water-limited situations. Topics that he presents include salinity considerations in the context of irrigation and nutrient management, the effect of drought on yield and associated adjustments in nutrient management, soil water storage, soil water and nutrient monitoring and testing, and organic production.
