Research Highlights
Design and Methods
While the use of greensand has been suggested a potential source of K, this paper details findings from a study showing greensand to be effective at providing K for crops.
Results
While greensand was not able to provide K to the potato crop, it did improve crop yield by acting as a soil conditioner.
Greensand can permanently improve soil water holding capacity and increase how much nutrients soil can hold.
