Other Opportunities To Help
For the Placer 4-H County Field Day to run successfully, we are in need of help from both youth and adults! Other than the Presentation and Interview Contest Evaluators and Room Host and Clerk opportunities, there are many other spaces we need help with. Look below for the various ways you can help out and please sign up.
Contest Lead & Assistant
We have several contests that need a lead and assistants. Leads would likely have knowledge or interest in the topic of the contest. They may be able to provide the materials needed to run the contest. (ie: Photography Contest may be a working photographer. Entomology Contest lead might have access to an insect collection that could be used for identification) Assistants are needed to help check-in youth, run the contest, collect answer sheets and score. Contests available are:

- Forestry Contest
Activities
Do you have a great idea for a fun activity that you would like to lead? Something for youth to participate in throughout the day. It could be something that is informative, hands-on, teaching, fun! The goal is to provide a lot of activities for youth to participate between other contests and when they have free time. Signup now!
Setup & Cleanup
We need help with event setup and cleanup. Setup crews will assist with posting lists on rooms, setting out signage, classroom setup and general event setup. Cleanup crews will assist with putting the school site back to how it began by resetting classrooms, removing signage, taking out the garbage, turning off lights and general event cleanup.
