Pumpkin Smash
Sept. 17 crop report and plot photos
Plot service request fulfilled 9/22
I pulled out a bunch of weeds, mostly nutsedge and oats; made some piles. Some straw came out with the weeds too, but plot looks cleaner. The healthy vines are taking over the empty space where vines were lost and a lot of young pumpkins are growing.
Also, as per your request, I sprayed on a foliar nutrient spray to be absorbed through the leaves (instead of the roots) and moved through the plant (a process called translocation). Coming to aid the growth of your pumpkins are more P, K & Ca along with micronutrients B, Mn, Mo and Zn (phosphorus, potassium, calcium, boron, manganese, molybdenum and zinc).
