Each department or unit should adhere to the standard naming conventions laid out in these guidelines, where by XXX are your Unit's optional fields

Research & Extension Centers

6 (Research Centers) XX (Center letters) RAT1 (one for each rate)

for example:

6XXRAT2

6XXRAT3

The account description should describe the Rate.

Examples:
6DDRAT1-DREC FIELD RESEARCH RATE
6DDRAT2-DREC FEEDMILL RESEARCH RATE

Sub Accounts

Individual Unit Naming Format- as determined by each Unit

Research & Extension Centers

Each rate account will have a sub-account for each year.
All accounts used to subsidize a particular rate will utilize the same sub-account for the Program year.

R (for rate ) 1(first rate) 11 (program year)

For example:

R1-11 DREC FIELD RATE 2010-2011

R2-11 DREC FEEDMILL RATE 2010-2011

Next Program Year:

R1-12 DREC FIELD RATE 2011-2012

R2-12 DREC FEEDMILL RATE 2011-2012

You will be able to search on Accts and sub-accounts for all accounts related to your rate in Decision Support.
