Counties and Numbers Chart
This chart shows the origin of reports received (Counties) and the number of reports received in 2010, 2013, 2014 and, to date (August 7) 2015. Until recently, numbers of reports received per year averaged around 200. The highest number was 1995 with 449 reports. Note that in recent years we are receiving fewer reports per year.
The number of reports received in any given year has something to do with weather (extreme weather events such as the big storm in December 1995 tend to generate more reports), but more to do with cooperators who are willing to document the failures they encounter. Sadly, the number of received in 2022 as of June 13 is only 25.
