October is when we should finally feel the shift to cooler temperatures and shorter days. It's a great month to purchase native plants from nurseries, plant cool season edibles, select your bulbs for spring color, and plan for the upcoming fall and winter winds, which typically run from October to June. Mums and marigolds are a great way to add fall color! |
