Programming Committee Representative Application for 2018-2019 Program Year

For the 2018-2019 program year (beginning this July), we will be reinstating the programming committee to help plan and develop projects and events for San Joaquin County 4-H.  But we need your expertise to help make next year's program the best one yet!

There are eight programming areas on the committee, and each area will have one adult rep and one youth rep.

  1. Large Animal Science
  2. Small Animal Science
  3. Equine Science and Companion & Service Dogs
  4. STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics)
  5. Creative & Healthy Living
  6. Citizenship & Community Service
  7. Outdoor Activities & Camp
  8. Primary & New Members

Above the budgeted amount for existing programming, the County Council has approved $8000 to be spent on program development next year! As a representative, you'll be deciding how to spend that money and make our program more robust!

To apply for YOUTH REPRESENTATIVE: You must be an active youth member age 13 or older with at least one completed project year within the chosen programming area.

To apply for ADULT REPRESENTATIVE: You must be an active adult member with at least one year of experience as a project leader within the chosen programming area.

Due to financial oversight rules, you CANNOT serve on the Programming Committee if you are serving on the Executive Council or Camp Committee!

***YOU MAY ONLY APPLY FOR ONE POSITION, EVEN IF YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE IN MULTIPLE PROGRAMMING AREAS***
