MKAT Marin Knotweed Action Team Knotweed Control Project Survey Participation Form Dear Resident, We represent a multi-agency team comprised of various organizations, including the Marin Department of Agriculture, California State Parks, the University of California Cooperative Extension, The National Park Service, Marin Municipal Water District, One Tam, and the Marin Resource Conservation District. As a community service to protect our environment and meet our stream restoration goals, we are controlling Japanese Knotweed (Fallopia japonica sp.) along San Geronimo Creek and its tributaries. This service is offered free of charge and is grant and county funded. There is no cost to the property owner for this work. The Marin Knotweed Action Team (MKAT) and the project coordinator, will act as the primary contact for questions or concerns related to knotweed in your community. Our desire is to work collaboratively with you to learn whether or not there is Japanese Knotweed present on your property. We would very much appreciate you completing this survey form and selecting Option #1 below; this will enable us to begin to survey and treat this invasive weed this summer 2022. Please read and select from the options below, and submit the form as soon as possible. |
