The first Thursday of every month on In the Garden, UCCE Master Gardeners and KUCI staff hosts Teena Spindler and Katrina Kirkeby will bring you special gardening information for the month.
In November, it really is time to prepare for colder weather. Young citrus and avocados trees will need to have their trunks wrapped to protect from frost. Prune dense trees for the passage of Santa Ana Winds.
Plant, pre-chill or force certain bulbs. Start thinking about strawberries, too. And of course, plant those California Natives and wildflowers.
Katrina and Teena will discuss what they are doing in their own beautiful gardens and landscapes.
