2024 Irrigated Pasture Workshop
Overview
In August 2024, UC Cooperative Extension hosted a field day in Sierra Valley focused on irrigated pasture management. The event focused on enhancing productivity and forage quality during an interactive field tour. Discussion topics at the event included: Forage and Soil Quality, Seed Varieties to Enhance Productivity, Drill Seeding, Pest and Invasive Weeds, and Grazing Management. During the field day attendees got a chance to look at UCCE no-till drill seeding sites.
