|Topic||Relative humidity & ventilaion|
Increase relative humidity in the vicinity of indoor plants by attaching a humidifier to the heating or ventilating system or by placing gravel trays (in which an even moisture level is maintained) under the flower pots or containers. As the moisture around the pebbles evaporates, the relative humidity increases. Grouping plants close together also raises humidity somewhat. Spraying mist on the foliage of plants does not significantly affect relative humidity.
Indoor plants, especially flowering varieties, are very sensitive to cold drafts or heat from registers. Do not place them directly in front of vents.
