Forward Looking Concepts in Cooperative Extension Outreach
Who should attend: ANR specialists and farm advisors
Change is happening all around us: ANR program assignments are broader in geographic and disciplinary scope; technology is changing the way people communicate, find and use information; there are fewer of us in ANR trying to reach a growing clientele. The success of ANR depends on our ability to adapt to these challenges by utilizing networks in new ways to gather, connect, synthesize and communicate information to a broader audience. This session will explore ways in which communication specialists are framing this issue and offering solutions for CE in the 21st Century.
