On Monday, Dec. 27, 2021, all the ANR servers will be taken offline for planned annual ANR IT server maintenance during the upcoming curtailment.
There will be no access to the ANR portal, websites, file servers and applications, etc. between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m.
If you plan to work on something that requires information from the ANR servers, please access the necessary data before Dec. 27 to work offline. If you are scheduling social media posts for Dec. 27 during this time period, please don't link to ANR websites.
ANR email will be unaffected by the server maintenance.
ANR IT plans to carry out these critical projects during the curtailment period to have a minimal impact on our colleagues.

The IWP, otherwise known as the Integrated Web Platform project, will begin replacing the current ANR website ucanr.edu in July in an effort to help make UC ANR's educational content more accessible to the people of California.
To prepare for conversion to the IWP platform, we need all ANR website owners to do three things:
1. Register their websites at https://ucanr.edu/portal/iwp_content_registration.cfm.
2. Remove unwanted files and delete or hide unwanted pages.
3. Update administrators for each website, using the SiteBuilder administration area to remove separated personnel and add anyone who would like to be part of the migration conversation for the site.
The IWP will provide a more current website ecosystem, which will help make content easier to find and bring more consistency in user experience and visual design across our websites. The current system presents challenges of co-mingling of internal and external content (human resources, development, and internal communications) which the IWP also aims to solve in later phases.
Successful implementation of the IWP will provide audiences with timely, user-friendly access to the information they need.
Selected sites associated with members of steering committees and some county sites will be transferred onto this new platform by the end of July 1.
If you haven't heard from the IWP core team, your content will move into the IWP after July. Once the full migration to the IWP is complete, the SiteBuilder platform will be retired. (No need to worry - The team will be in touch well before any changes are made.)
More information and FAQs can be found at https://ucanr.edu/sites/Professional_Development/Integrated_Web_Platform. Updates are posted at https://ucanr.edu/sites/Professional_Development/Updates. If you have any questions or concerns related to IWP, please feel free to contact the IWP team at iwp@ucanr.edu.
