A little something Lynn Sosnoskie shared with us... real weeds in artificial/fake turf.
Products like or tho ground clear or roundup max 365 are labeled for driveways, edges of lawns, gravel etc. In this case I think it would apply. But if the weeds were growing up through the middle of the artificial turf, I wonder if those products would be considered to be labeled appropriate?
Pulling weeds like these works OK, but sometimes the roots are hard to remove and pulling is not effective. I then resort to a high pressure water stream to hydraulically remove the soil plus roots. This works great for removing weeds in pavement cracks, but should work at the edge of fake turf. Herbicides, including organic herbicides might discolor the fake turf, so may not be ideal. Just saying...
