San Joaquin County 4-H welcomes our newest club, Valley View 4-H in Stockton! The group uses Valley View Charter School for its meetings, and many of the families are also enrolled at that school.
The membership is interested in starting various community service, gardening, and conservation projects. We're also looking forward to seeing their contributions at various county events, such as Food Fiesta and Fashion Revue!
At their first meeting, the group invited a guest speaker: Dr. Marvin R. Bledsoe. Dr. Bledsoe shared his first-hand experience with the Civil Rights movement as part of the Club's observance of Black History Month.
We look forward to hearing all about Valley View 4-H's future endeavors!
