The Regional Rural Development Centers (RRDC) in cooperation with the USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) developed a SBIR Application Webinar Series with a focus on informing applicants on the specifics of the USDA Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grant program, specifically those for applicants interested in applying for Phase I SBIR funding. RRDC is participating in this project, and offering this webinar series, to assist individuals and organizations in their efforts to secure SBIR resources to further the development of small business activities with the potential for commercialization.
This webinar series will provide an overview of the USDA SBIR Program and eligibility requirements, tips on navigating Grants.gov, the SBIR application process, developing your idea, and resources for developing a strong proposal. Participants will also obtain guidance regarding the grant writing process, preparing your proposal for submission, and the steps for submitting your application.
