Thanks for the reminder, Denise. I was  
just thinking my leaves were too thick under my oak trees. Now I will be sure to leave them.

Great article, I have always mulched leaves with my mower, now I will leave some unmulched in flower beds. Worms are already shredding leaves and taking them into their middens.

Hmmmmm… I think I’ve been over exuberant “tidying” up the rocky areas where our Japanese maple have dropped their leaves! Must refrain from this continual obsession to keep yards looking “nice”. Thank you for a very informative article, Denise!
