we have them in our eaves of our over hang. i have left them alone. will they present a problem if they nest in the attic?

Hi, Personally, I'd leave them where they are if they're not disturbing anything. Whitney Cranshaw mentioned that he has them nesting in the eaves of his roof. "Indeed I have them nesting in an eave right above my head where I dine outdoors in the evening – I watch them come and go during dinner. I think that they are very mellow and should not bother the person in a location where one is not going to accidentally brush against the colony. So I wouldn’t worry too much about this. Not much of a stinging hazard in this location and the amount of debris they bring in during nesting is small, particularly compared to something like a baldfaced hornet or a honey bee."
