Preliminary grain and forage yield results for our fall-planted common wheat, triticale, durum wheat and barley trials are now available on the UC Small Grains Research and Information Center website:
http://smallgrains.ucanr.edu/Annual_Variety_Results/Preliminary_2022_Yield_Results/
The results are preliminary and may change as samples are cleaned, processed for quality and corrected for variations in moisture content. Final results that include grain quality outcomes and agronomic and disease observations will be available in 6 to 8 weeks. These results are not intended as variety recommendations and should not be used as such. The true performance of a variety is most reliable when based on data taken across multiple environments and seasons. When final results are presented for the 2021-2022 data, they will include summaries across multiple environments and seasons, as appropriate.
We appreciate the contributions from a wide array of University of California collaborators to make this year's trial possible!
