My two Fuyu persimmon trees are almost ready to pick. I have them covered with netting to keep away the birds. But it's hard for me to reach them because of the netting. Another problem is picking them off the stems. They resist being picked !! Is twisting the best way?

Hi Gary, the birds do enjoy persimmons. The best way to pick is using pruning shears.
