I have been enjoying your photos ever since your capturing a honey bee producing wax plates photo. Very detailed, and very informative! Love any and all pics with a honey bee at work. As a bee keeper, I would greatly appreciate any close-up shots you're able to achieve. Great work! Always looking forward to more.... Thank you!

In my garden, borage is unequaled and indispensable as a habitat plant for honey bees. It is long lasting, self-seeding, and easy to grow. Native bees don't seem to be too interested in it but, as a plant, it can't do everything. Thanks for the photos and the plug for the Burbank Farm that is down the road from where I live.

Thanks for your comment. We've seen nice stands of borage at the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens, Fort Bragg, and at the Davis Bee Sanctuary.
