Fall 2024 Online Workshop Series for 4-H Project Leaders
Free online series (using Zoom) provided by the UC 4-H Volunteer Workgroup.
The full series consists of 8-hours (4 sessions, each 2 hours)
Wednesdays in September 2024
For: New 4-H volunteer educators serving as project leaders.
To: Learn how to plan and facilitate 4-H learning experiences (projects) with young people in community 4-H club projects, after-school club programs, day camps, special interest (SPIN) clubs, teenagers-as-teachers (teens-as-teachers) programs, and other educational experiences. In the four-part series, 4-H volunteer educators learn about their roles, responsibilities, lesson planning, making learning engaging, working with youth, and effective hands-on learning. Virtual sessions cover content from The UC 4-H Volunteer Educators' Guide: For Volunteers Facilitating 4-H Educational Experiences (published in 2023).

2024 California 4-H State Leadership Conference (SLC)
The theme for this year's conference is Road to Resilience.
SLC is open to senior members ages 14-19 and intermediate members ages 11-13. The senior track begins July 25 and the intermediate track begins July 26.
Conference Cost
Senior members $379, Intermediate members $279

The 2023-2024 Youth Development Program year ends on June 30, 2024. At the end of each program year, the online enrollment system resets and all enrollments rollover into an "inactive" state.
The ZSuite enrollment system will begin this process on June 21, 2024. At noon on that day, families will no longer have access to the system for this program year.
The projected date families can login and enroll for the 2024-2025 program year is noon, July 18, 2024.
