Description	I took this photo in a friend's front yard in Encinitas, California, early on an overcast morning. The Matija Poppies in her yard have been there 20 years and cover her fence of 25 feet. Bees were everywhere.I liked how the sun backlit the white flower with the dark background. the photo also captures what a bee does best - pollinate! The simple photograph captures the detail in the flower and the bee and speaks to the essence of nature: Gathering food and creating life.
