Reporting Multi state Extension Activity
In this function, you report on any Multi state Extension Activity you conducted in this reporting year.
In order to receive Cooperative Extension federal funding, all states are required to project and report on Multi state Extension Activity, defined as:
"...collaborative efforts that reflect the programs of institutions located in at least two or more States... Each participating State must be a collaborator towards objectives and involved in the outcomes. Examples of multi state extension activities may include committees, projects, training, workshops, centers, and meetings that involve more than one state."
Examples of Multi state Extension Activity
Time spent on the following activities may qualify as Multi state Extension Activity:
- ANR workgroup activities/projects where there are active Extension participants from other states can be counted by each workgroup member.
- Committees that plan programs, curriculum, publications, etc. that involve Extension colleagues from other states
- Research or Extension projects that involve Extension colleagues from other states
- Training given to participants in other states through other state Extension programs
