Support Services
UC ANR offers several different resources for victims of sexual violence. If you want to maintain as much control over your situation as possible, we recommend contacting the Center for Advocacy, Resources and Education (CARE) (see below) or the Academic and Staff Assistance Program (ASAP) for advice and support (see below). These offices are not required to report incidents of sexual violence or harassment to the university.

The Center for Advocacy, Resources, and Education (CARE) advocate provides free, confidential crisis intervention, advocacy and accompaniment services to any survivor of sexual assault, intimate partner violence or stalking. Services are available to all UC Davis student, staff, faculty, and others who experience sexual violence in the context of a University program.

The Academic and Staff Assistance Program (ASAP) offers free, confidential assessment, intervention, consultation and referral services to all UC ANR employees and their immediate families. ASAP is strictly confidential. No information about your participation is released to anyone without your written consent except when legally mandated. No information from ASAP appears in any departmental, central or personnel file. Your need for privacy is respected.
