Food Safety when Entertaining
Nov. 9, 2024 Ready for IWP migration.
Nov. 2021 Created with a focus is on (Thanksgiving) Turkey and other aspects of food safety for entertaining and the upcoming holidays.
This page was inspired by the Food Safety by Events and Seasons (FoodSafety.gov) webpage and its colorful infographics that are loaded with tips to reduce the risk of foodborne illness. We've chosen to transcribe and add to the following FoodSafety infographics that focus on food safety when hosting or attending a holiday event or other special get-together:
- Let's Talk Turkey - all about the turkey
- Your Road to a Food-Safe Holiday - other holiday foods
- Food Safety for Groups - party time
Watch a Holiday Food Safety (FDA.gov) youtube video to get a quick refresher on food safety basics (CLEAN - SEPARATE - COOK - CHILL):
- Holiday Food Safety (English)
- Seguridad de alimentos durante festividades (Spanish, en español)
