Dr. James Baird, Turfgrass Management Specialist in UC Riverside’s Botany and Plant Sciences Department, installed trials of water saving grass varieties across California, including Marin County. Read more... | Dr. Deanne Meyer, Livestock Waste Management Specialist in UC Davis’ Department of Animal Science, and the California Dairy Quality Assurance Program, provided training and one-on-one assistance for area dairy producers to understand and implement water quality improving practices.
