County Implementation Projects

The CNCEFS Partnership includes four county-level implementation projects in Del Norte, Humboldt, Sonoma, and Marin counties where a deeper level of engagement in grant activities will take place. Implementation projects will engage in community-scale emergency food system coordination, planning, and response based on local needs. Project activities will identify vulnerable populations in need of emergency food assistance, inventory emergency food system infrastructure, analyze the equitable distribution of services, establish community-based food networks, and identify avenues for incorporating local food production into emergency food supply chains.
