Jim Stewart
Jim Stewart is an independent Pest Contol Advisor (PCA). He has consulted for over 40 years on citrus, stone fruits, and vine crops produced in California's Central Valley. After attending Ventura College and the University of California at Davis, Mr. Stewart received his B.S. degree in Entomology from the University of California at Berkeley in 1962, where he interacted with IPM pioneers Drs. Ray Smith, Kenneth Hagen, Robert van den Bosch, and Vernon Stern. He was one of the early uses of IPM and contributed significantly to its adoption among California growers. Mr. Stewart is a highly respected PCA, who continues to serve the agricultural community of the San Joaquin Valley.
