Scott Long
Scott Long is a fourth generation California grower and continues a 100 year tradition of farming the land. He jumped into the family farming business when he was 5 years old when he began to follow his father through the orchards. He attended Modesto Junior College initially and completed a Bachelor's degree in Agribusiness at California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo. In 1985, he became foreman of the Superior Fruit Ranch, his family's farm. He manages over 200 acres of cling peaches, 150 acres of almonds, and 50 acres of wine grapes. He is a member of the California Cling Peach Board and is active in overcoming the challenges that face California Agriculture.
