Bi-weekly pay conversion update
ANR has been informed that UC Davis will be mailing letters regarding the bi-weekly pay conversion to all affected (non-exempt) staff employees whose paychecks are generated by the Davis campus. These letters will be mailed to the affected employee’s home address.
ANR encourages ANR staff employees, directors and supervisors to visit the ANR Bi-weekly Pay Website at http://ucanr.edu/sites/payroll_info. The information on this site has been specifically tailored for ANR employees and will be updated regularly as we receive additional information. The website provides FAQs and general information (in English and Spanish) about the payroll conversion, as well as a general list of the affected payroll titles. The site will offer a link to a calculator that will help you get an idea of what your new bi-weekly income may look like.
Webinars
UC Davis will host an informational webinar about the bi-weekly payroll conversion on Wednesday, Nov. 14, from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon:
- ReadyTalk
- Dial-in: (866) 740-1260 (for audio portion of presentation)
- Access Code: 7526381
- Web: http://www.readytalk.com (for video portion of presentation)
- Access Code: 7526381
The UC Davis webinar will give a brief overview of the conversion process to a bi-weekly pay cycle that will take place in January 2013. This session is intended for campus employees who will be affected by this transition and their supervisors.
Please note, ANR employees are invited to attend the UC Davis webinar, but the information is not tailored specifically to ANR. ANR will be hosting a similar webinar, tailored for ANR employees, after Nov. 14. Look for the date of this webinar in a future ANR Update.

July 1 changes - ANR / Sea Grant, Staff Personnel Unit, county director reporting
On July 1, ANR and the Sea Grant program officially complete the transition announced last fall. Formerly called Sea Grant advisors, Jodi Cassell and Leigh Taylor Johnson will remain with ANR as coastal resources advisors. Other Sea Grant advisors – Carrie Culver, Monique Myers, Paul Olin, Carrie Pomeroy, Susan Schlosser and Rick Starr – will now be part of the Sea Grant College at UC San Diego.
Also effective July 1, Linda Marie Manton assumes her duties as executive director of staff personnel and can be reached at (530) 752-0495 and lmmanton@ucdavis.edu.
As previously announced, effective July 1, county directors report administratively to Barbara Allen-Diaz, AVP – Academic Programs and Strategic Initiatives. However, to consult for policy decisions, the county directors will contact directly the appropriate source according to the nature of the issue. For example, questions involving academic personnel matters should be directed to Kim Rodriques, executive director of academic personnel; staff personnel questions should be directed to Manton; and environmental health and safety questions should go to Brian Oatman, EH&S manager.
