LGBTQ+ Inclusion
UC ANR is committed to creating and sustaining an environment that supports and values all members of our community, including visitors. LGBTQ+ inclusion requires providing access and equality by creating an environment that is safe, accessible and respectful of all individuals.
- LGBTQ+ community at higher risk for COVID-19 complications
UC Cooperative Extension is partnering with Gala Pride and Diversity Center and Tenet Health Care to develop educational materials for health care providers, public health care officials, community-based organizations, and other groups to increase awareness of LGBTQ+ individuals’ increased risks for severe complications from a COVID-19 infection.

Gender inclusive facilities at UC Agriculture and Natural Resources
One aspect of creating an inclusive environment is the availability of safe, accessible and convenient facilities for all individuals.
Gender inclusive facilities (also, gender neutral facilities) are facilities (including, but not limited to, restrooms, showers, locker rooms and changing rooms) that are usable by persons of all gender identities and expressions and that are not gender specific. The facilities provide privacy and security for the individual user.
Gender inclusive restrooms locations
All gender inclusive facilities are identified by signage containing a triangle within a circle.
