This is "Arizona Bark Scorpion," the work of Sarah Rizzo, a community member who has volunteered with the UC Davis Art/Science Fusion Program since its inception in 2016.
Installation complete! Artist Amanda Larson (far left), led the installation. With her are project designers and instructors Gale Okumura (center), professional graphic designer and a retired continuing lecturer in the UC Davis Department of Design, and UC Davis distinguished professor and artist Diane Ullman, co-founder of the UC Davis Art/Science Fusion Program.
This is the final project showing the 78 tiles and more than 110 handmade trim pieces that grace the elevator entrance.
