Save the Date!
We have a workshop coming up in February geared towards natural resource managers conducting forest monitoring in the Santa Cruz Mountains Region. We are seeking your feedback methods and approaches to monitoring. In the workshop, you will help develop a long-term monitoring protocol that will be deployed at forest stewardship projects across the region in 2025 and 2027. You can also learn more about having your organization included in the free monitoring and research program.
Helping to Build Knowledge and Resilience at Your Santa Cruz Mountains Forestland through Applied Research and Extension
Maintaining healthy, productive forest systems is achievable through collaborative stewardship. Help, resources, and research are available through the UC Extension Forestry Program for Santa Cruz, San Mateo, and Santa Clara Counties. Brian Woodward, University of California Cooperative Extension Forest Advisor, runs a forest research and extension program serving all forest managers, owners, and residents seeking information on forest management, forest health, forest ecology, and related topics in the Santa Cruz Mountains region.
