Working with the News Media and Social Media Influencers to Promote Your Program

Working with your local news media can be an effective way to convey program information and research, while also raising important visibility. This two-part session will provide useful tips on how to engage reporters in a way that will entice them to cover your activities, as well as practical advice from a panel of two or three ANR academics and others who use social media to connect with journalists and make ANR information accessible to broad audiences. Included will be guidance on how to prepare for interviews and how to get across your main messages.
