1-D Forging New Partnerships to Engage Communities in Strengthening Local Food Systems

By taking a public health and health equity-driven approach to our work, Cooperative Extension is positioned to be an important player in collaborating with communities and partners to strengthen long-term sources of healthy foods accessible to all. Join presenters from three unique external agencies working on Farm to School programs, community and school gardens, and farmers markets. Participants will be able to connect with new organizations and each other to discuss challenges, roadblocks and new opportunities for robust interdisciplinary engagement.
