Concurrent Session Speakers and Panelists

Meeting Rooms and Concurrent Session Rooms

Rooms will be assigned in early April after we have registration numbers for each session. 

Each room will be equipped with the following equipment: 

  • Windows based laptop
  • Screen and Projector with cart and cords
  • Laser pointer
  • Microphone(s)

Presentation Files

PowerPoints are due no later than Monday, April 3, 2023.

Upload your presentation file directly to Box

  • The upload can take some time so please be sure you stay on the page until the "Success!" message is displayed.
  • Name your file with your session # and your last name.
    • Example: 2-C_Humiston
  • Limit the file size to 25 GB or less. To reduce the file size you can: 
    • Zip your file before uploading.
    • Compress all your photos (in PPT: Click on any photo, go to “Picture Format” tab, under the “Adjust” section select “Compress Pictures,” de-select “Apply only to this picture,” adjust the resolution to either “web” or “email,” select “OK.”

We encourage you to use this standard template for your PowerPoint file.  

Handouts

Please limit handouts as much as possible and utilize virtual materials instead. We'd like to be as environmentally friendly as possible. Email us links or files and we'll post them on the website. 

Hybrid Meetings

Unfortunately, virtual meetings/sessions will not be possible. 

Presenters: Posters & Tabletops

Preparing Your Poster/Tabletop Exhibit 

Presenters must print their own poster(s). Please email us if that poses any issues. 

Posters should be prepared with a technical and lay audience in mind, despite the detailed nature of some topics. Please include key messages and the implications of your findings.  

  • Poster size should not exceed 48” high by 48” wide.
  • Poster will be pinned to large poster boards, so please do not mount your poster on foam board.
  • Virtual handouts are encouraged. Please send us links or copies, so we can post them before the conference. 
  • Posters will be removed at the end of each night's poster session. Each night has over 70 posters, so we can not accommodate displaying posters for more than the assigned night.

Please provide an electronic copy in PDF format to UC ANR Program Support Unit by April 3, 2023, so we can post it on the conference website.
