2-A Best Practices to Reach Out to the Latino Community

This workshop is geared towards community educators and communicators and will outline updated best practices for culturally relevant engagement with the Latino community. During this session, two-time Emmy Award winner Gustavo Barraza, journalist Lilia O'Hara, and Radio Indigena Manager Jorge Rios will share how to pitch a compelling story for Spanish television, radio and other media coverage and how best to partner with the media to benefit the Latino community.
