2-E How and When Do Adults Learn Best?

Wednesday, April 26, 8:45-10:15 AM

Teaching adults can be challenging. How do we create a space where adults can be present and ready to learn? Once they are ready, how to we structure workshops or classes to best facilitate learning and retention? In this session, presenters will use brain science and educational theory to provide simple and effective strategies for creating inclusive and impactful community learning opportunities. Participants will have opportunity to learn, reflect, and plan for the implementation of these strategies in their work.
