COVID restrictions

We have been working with the team planning the statewide conference and will have a plan in place to keep all attendees aware of COVID-19 precautions and procedures to respond to symptoms, positive cases, and exposures. To that end, we will have masks and antigen tests available throughout the conference, but we are not currently planning to require pre-conference testing or use of masks during the conference. We will also continue to monitor conditions and the rate of cases statewide and in Fresno county up to the time of the conference and be prepared to modify protocols if there is a substantial increase in cases, or if public health recommendations change.

As we move into an endemic phase in the response to COVID-19, and guided by public health plans and communication, our efforts are continuing to shift from the restrictions of the first year or two of the pandemic, to and approach led more by education, awareness, and increasing health literacy.
